Job Description

General Purpose of Job:

The Entry Level IT Trainer independently manages training sessions, develops training materials, and assesses user proficiency. This role includes designing lesson plans, supporting go-lives, and working with stakeholders to update curriculum.

Essential Duties:

This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Team members may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.



  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions for end-users on system features and workflows.
  • Design training materials, including handouts, user guides, and assessments.
  • Proctor exams and document training results, reporting progress to stakeholders.
  • Provide go-live support, assisting users with system functionality during the implementation phase.
  • Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to ensure training content is aligned with current workflows.
  • Assist with training environment testing and troubleshooting.




Job Requirements



Work Experience Basic familiarity in training, instructional design, or customer support.
Education

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of training experience
  • OR Associates degree computer science, IT or related field and a minimum of 1 year of training experience
  • OR Bachelors degree in computer science, IT or related field

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in developing training materials and assessing user skills.
  • Ability to independently conduct training sessions and manage user feedback.
  • Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
