Marywood University invites applications for the position of Director of Clinical Training (DCT) within the Department of Psychology and Counseling. The University seeks a detail-oriented,collaborative, and experienced clinical educator to partner withthe Academic Vice President and Dean of the College of Health Sciences and program faculty to lead the administration,compliance, and ongoing development of the PsyD program. The DC Twill join a dedicated clinical core faculty that is committed tothe Scholar-Practitioner model and the mission of the University,ensuring that the program maintains full APA accreditation whileproviding a rigorous, supportive educational pathway for studentsto achieve licensure and professional success. Marywood University serves a diverse and growing community ofmore than 3,000 students across its undergraduate, graduate, anddoctoral programs. Grounded in the Catholic intellectual traditionand the charism of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the University offers a personalized learning environmentwith a student-to-faculty ratio of 12: 1. The faculty is highlycredentialed, with approximately 87% of full-time members holding aPh.D. or other terminal degree in their field. Marywood remainscommitted to access and affordability, with a significant majorityof students receiving financial aid. The Universitys academicportfolio is designed to meet the evolving demands of the modernworkforce, offering over 80 degrees from the bachelors to thedoctoral level. This is a 12-month clinical core faculty appointment with arenewable three-year administrative term, appointed by Marywoods Chief Academic Officer. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences, the DCT serves as the primary administrator forthe PsyD program, balancing administrative leadership withteaching, scholarship, and service. The successful candidate willreceive a significant reduction in teaching load (6- credits) toeffectively manage program operations, ensure continuous AP Aaccreditation compliance, and foster a culture of clinicalexcellence. The DCT joins a collaborative faculty team in a programdefined by its commitment to the Scholar-Practitioner model andclose-knit student mentorship.
