Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program

The Harrisburg Electricians Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) of IBEW Local 143 is now accepting applications for its highly respected electrical apprenticeship training program.

This industry-recognized program offers a structured combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, giving both men and women the opportunity to build a long-term, rewarding career in the union electrical industry.

Earn while you learn

Apprentices learn directly from experienced journey-level electricians while earning competitive wages, plus excellent full-family health insurance, and great retirement benefits.

Applicants must:

• Be at least 17 years old
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Have completed one full year of algebra
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Reside within the Local 143 jurisdiction

All applications are accepted without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, or sex.

You do not need experience in the construction or electrical industries to apply.
