The College of Education and Social Services at the University of Vermont (UVM) seeks applicants for a full-time 9-month, Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Department of Education, Early Childhood Education program beginning in Fall 2026. We seek a collaborative and talented colleague with expertise in early childhood education (birth through grade three). Qualified candidates will have earned their doctorate prior to the start of the position. Professional work experience in public education settings and/or early childhood care settings is expected. The occupant of this position will: 1) teach undergraduate courses, supervise practica or clinical internships; b) engage in collaborative service to the program, department, college, university, and state; c) engage in scholarship equivalent to authoring or co-authoring one peer-reviewed manuscript per year.
