School Police Officer (SPO)

Northgate School District | Full-Time

Northgate School District seeks a School Police Officer to maintain a safe, supportive learning environment. Duties include law enforcement on school property, emergency response, safety initiatives, and building positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.

Responsibilities: Enforce laws; respond to incidents/emergencies; conduct patrols; assist with safety/threat assessments; support drills and preparedness; promote a positive school climate; prepare reports and testify as needed.

Qualifications: Act 120 or MPOETC-approved training; Basic SRO Course; current firearms

qualification; ability to be sworn in by a PA judge; PA Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI

clearances; law enforcement (5 years preferred) and youth experience preferred.
