Position Type: Full-time Welcome to Fairhaven Public Schools, Fairhaven High School, Fairhaven High School, known as the “Castle on a Hill,” is located in the historic coastal town of Fairhaven, Massachusetts. Built in 1906 through the generosity of town benefactor Henry Huttleston Rogers, the school blends rich tradition with a forward-looking commitment to excellence in education. Serving approximately 570 students in grades 9-12, Fairhaven High School offers a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience. The school is fully accredited and is part of a district recognized as the first in Massachusetts to receive full District Accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Fairhaven High School was featured in The Education Magazine’s September 2025 issue highlighting the “10 Most Admired School Districts in the Nation” and was named a 2025 School of Recognition by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). The school offers 19 Advanced Placement (AP) courses and recently introduced a Capstone Diploma Program. FHS has earned a place on the College Board AP Honor Roll for five consecutive years and maintains an impressive 93% graduation rate. It is also the only high school in the region with multiple Innovation Career Pathway designations. In addition to its strong academic offerings, FHS is home to award-winning programs in media, visual arts, performing arts, and music, along with a wide range of successful interscholastic athletic programs. The school continues to expand opportunities that connect students to college and career pathways, real-world learning experiences, and innovative programming.
