Department of Philosophy: Assistant Professor of Instruction

The University of South Alabama Department of Philosophy invites applications for a full-time (9-month), non-tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Instruction, starting August 15, 2026. Applicants should possess an earned doctoral degree in Philosophy or a closely related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline. Area of Specialization: Epistemology. Area of Concentration: Open (but must be qualified to teach Logic/Critical Thinking, and the ability to teach courses in Philosophy of Technology as well as Metaphysics would be a plus).
