A multifamily apartment community in Lynn, MA seeks a proactive Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager who can manage the community autonomously. Responsibilities include property oversight, leasing, marketing, budgeting, financial management, and staff supervision. Annual salary between 60-75K depending on experience plus amazing benefits.
Essential Duties & Requirements:
- Oversee property to the highest standards with a continual focus on asset preservation and enhancement.
- Continually focus on leasing and resident satisfaction.
- Regularly inspect the property and report service repairs.
- Ensure that the property meets or exceeds its financial performance targets and ownership objectives. Maximize revenue while monitoring and controlling expenses.
- Adhere to and communicate policies, rules, and regulations to residents, maintenance staff, and vendors.
- Maintain property promotional materials, expense reporting and budgeting. Other duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience of progressive property management experience, including leasing, staff oversight, budgeting, and monitoring expenses.
- Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and regulations.
- Experience using property management technology such as Real Page, Yardi, MRI. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office equipment.
- A proactive problem solver who is organized, detail oriented, and communicates with poise and tact.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Physical Demands
Able to work autonomously in a high volume, high stress environment. Must be able to walk around the property and climb stairs for inspections and apartment showings.
