Executive Assistant - Probate State of Connecticut Office of the Probate Court Administrator West Hartford The State of Connecticut, Judicial Branch, Office of the Probate Court Administrator is seeking an Executive Assistant – Probate, to provide clerical planning and management assistance to the Probate Court Administrator. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Perform professional and complex clerical duties under the supervision of the Probate Court Administrator such as dictation, typing, and filing; compose a variety of documents; perform special assignment and administrative functions as specifically directed; provide employees and public with information; respond to inquiries; conduct research; schedule appointments and arrange meetings as well as assemble materials for meetings; maintain Probate Court Administrator’s calendar; assist attorneys and other professional staff by providing support in preparation and updating of manuals, reports, charts, correspondence, mailings, expense reports; ensure that all documents are complete and accurate; ensure the orderly processing of job assignments; manage files and records; schedule and prepare materials for court visits; plan, assign, and direct the activities of clerical staff as it relates to the CT Probate Assembly and continuing education meetings; main contact for CT Probate Assembly, organize committee meetings; perform various administrative functions for Assembly, and perform other related duties as required. Salary Range: $78,836 - $103,306 annually – plus State of Connecticut benefits. New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.
