NS2 Mission is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Tysons Corner, VA. This role will entail specialized expertise in Android platforms and beaconing technologies to support mission-critical communications and tracking capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing mobile and endpoint devices, administering secure network infrastructure, and supporting beaconing and situational awareness solutions in sensitive operational environments. This role requires a technically proficient engineer capable of maintaining high system availability, ensuring secure communications, and exercising discretion while handling sensitive data in support of mission outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manage, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot mobile and endpoint devices including: Android telephones Laptops Tablet devices Maximize uptime and reliability of communications systems supporting mission operations Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including: Firewalls Switches Routers WAN and LAN systems Administer and support encryption hardware, encryption software, and VPN solutions Safeguard sensitive information through sound judgment and adherence to security best practices Support deployment and sustainment of Android-based communications and beaconing solutions Provide technical expertise to ensure mission success in dynamic and operationally sensitive environments Required Skills & Demonstrated Experience Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining telephones, laptops, and tablet devices, including configuration and lifecycle support Demonstrated experience configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operating: Firewalls Switches Routers WAN and LAN network equipment Demonstrated experience using encryption hardware and software Demonstrated experience supporting Virtual Private Network (VPN) applications Proven experience handling sensitive data with discretion and sound judgment Ability to deliver reliable, mission-focused technical solutions Desired Skills & Demonstrated Experience Experience administering communications solutions for Android devices and equipment Experience administering beaconing solutions Experience customizing, deploying, and maintaining Android cellular telephones Experience using ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit), including: Beaconing and tracking hardware Software and plugins Scripts and code supporting situational awareness and tracking Position Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI FSP Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S security clearance which requires U.S citizenship.
