The Quality Manageris a key member of the plant management staff responsible for assuring that product quality meets specified requirements.The Quality Manager has defined authority and responsibility for the final disposition of product whichcomplies withboth internal and customer specifications.Additionally, the Quality Manageris responsible fordeveloping andenforcing,production validation methods, final product testing processes, providing certificationdocumentationand managing thequalitystaff within assigned areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Achieve quality operationalobjectivesby contributing quality information and analysis for strategic plans and business reviews; preparing and completing corrective action plans; implementing and enforcing quality and specification standards;identifyingand resolving quality problems;determiningcontinuous improvements opportunities; and implementing changes as required to meet requirements.

    • Meet quality financialobjectivesby preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; andinitiatingcorrective actions where needed.

    • Develop quality plans by conducting performance gap analyzes;identifyingcritical control points and implementingappropriate preventivemeasures;establishingcritical limits and monitoring processes to ensure complianceand ensuringverification procedures are in place formonitoringthe quality status of inventories.

    • Validate quality processes byestablishingproduct specifications and qualityattributes; measuring production outputs; documenting evidencerequiredfordeterminingoperational performance and product quality; and writing and updating of quality assurance procedures.

    • Maintain and improve product quality by completing internal quality audits; investigating and implementing the required actions to address customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product designs, and quality training methods.

    • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting,analyzingand summarizing information and trends including product conformance, quality rejectreasonsand process capability studies.

    • Assure compliance with all requirements to all applicableMativregulatory and certifications related to product quality and management systems.

    • Update job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management;participatingin educational opportunities; reading professional publications;maintainingpersonal networks; andparticipatingin professional organizations.

    • Accomplish quality department human resourceobjectivesby recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

    • Participate as a team member of a global quality organization to share,developand implement best practices in a systematic and scalable manner. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership foraccomplishingnew and differentrequests;and exploring opportunities to add value to quality function accomplishments.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

RequiredEducation &Skillsets:

Bachelor's degree in engineeringor another technical field with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality leadership role.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage both quality assurance and control team members in an operational environment

    • Highly motivated and self-directed to enable success in working in a matrix reporting environment

    • Strong problem solving, quantitative, analytical skills

    • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills

    • Strong leadership skills, including change management

    • Strong interpersonal skills

    • Strong presentation and training skills

The annual salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $150,700.00. The role is also short-term incentive plan eligible.
