How You'll Make an Impact

  • Design and develop mechanical components for distribution transformers using 2D and 3D software.
  • Lead and participate in customer specification and design reviews.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation to meet internal and external standards.
  • Provide timely engineering support across departments and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet industry standards.
  • Support vendor development and qualification of new parts.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, or similar 3D modeling software.
  • Familiarity with industrial standards and design practices.
  • Knowledge of pad-mounted transformers (preferred).
  • Experience with IEEE and CSA standards for distribution transformers (preferred).
