Primary Purpose:
Leads execution of strategic planning processes across business units, ensuring integration and alignment with organizational priorities. Provides guidance on complex analyses and supports development of actionable strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Oversees the execution of strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market demands.
  • Guides team members through the evaluation of potential acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Leads cross-functional strategic projects, facilitating collaboration and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Reviews and validates financial analyses and business models to support strategic recommendations.
  • Keeps abreast of market trends and competitive activities, providing insights to influence strategic decisions.
  • Negotiates less complex strategic transactions and supports more senior managers in highly complex dealings.
  • Reviews and refines departmental processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in strategic planning tasks.
  • Promotes a culture of strategic awareness and collaboration within the team, fostering a proactive approach to opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:



  • Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Typically requires 8 years of relevant experience.

  • Strategic Planning - Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy.
  • Corporate Development Strategies - The actions and plans that organizations undertake to enhance growth, competitiveness, and value creation.
  • Data Analysis - Measuring and managing organization data, identifying methodological best practices and conducting statistical analyzes.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions - Mergers and acquisitions are transactions in which the ownership of companies, other business organizations, or their operating units are transferred or consolidated with other entities.
  • Commercial Negotiation - The planning, reviewing, analysis and other activities that a buyer and seller conduct to reach an agreement.
  • Project Management - The process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.
  • Market Analysis - Analyzing competing products, services, and organizations in the external business environment.
  • Relationship Management - Activities undertaken to improve business relationships.
  • Financial Modeling and Valuation - Designing mathematical models and analyzing data to estimate the financial performance and value of a company or investment, involves analyzing historical financial data, projecting future scenarios, and applying valuation methods to determine fair value.
  • Investment Due Diligence - The process of extensive and intensive research to evaluate an investment decision, considering all possibilities and verifying the information used it involves looking into the background, financial history, and details of an asset.
